We at VDEX are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, as well as educate and promote good health practices. We offer a competitive pay with a work life balance (NO WEEKENDS), at VDEX we are patient oriented and you will be given TIME TO TRULY HELP THE PATIENT. Our appointments range from 20 minutes to an hour depending on the patients needs. VDEX offers stock in the company (after 1 year) so with us you do not just work for the company you are part of a growing company and as we grow you grow with us. We are a team oriented company and staff and providers work together to give patients the best experience every time they walk through our doors.  The work environment is is relaxed and a lot of fun.  We work hard but have a good time doing it.

A little about VDEX, we decided to approach the fight against diabetes from scratch and instead of asking, “How do we improve the current system?” we asked, “WHAT IS THE BEST SYSTEM TO PRODUCE THE BEST RESULTS FOR THE PATIENT?” We have built that and now are going to expand into Roswell, New Mexico.

Requirements

• Board certified; Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
• One year experience but not necessary

• Provide diabetes care to patients
• Perform examinations as needed
• Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
• Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
• Communicating test results to patients and their families
• Recording patient medical histories
• Operating and maintaining medical equipment
• Knowledgeable of medication class and side effects
• Basic computer knowledge
• Comfortable utilizing and maintaining records with an EHR
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Promote good health practices
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Strong ethics
• Valid nurse practitioner license
